Hi, everyone!
My name is Daisha Washington, and I am SO excited to be your 3rd grade Math and Science teacher! I've been teaching for 8 years, with this year being my fifth year in 3rd grade. I am new to Texas from Louisiana, by way of Illinois. I hold a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from LSU (GEAUX TIGERS!) and am currently pursuing my Masters in Business Administration. I love helping students find joy in learning and discovering their passions. I believe in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where everyone feels encouraged to grow and succeed.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones. I love music, Saturday trips to Home Goods, and a good pun. The cheesier, the better! :)
